Considerable investment of time and energy are required to become an Ambassador Dealer. The certification program has been carefully designed to establish uniquely high standards of performance and operating procedures, measuring dealerships across five categories: Customer Service & Human Resources, Dealership Operations & Facilities, Sales Process, Service Process, and Parts Process. Within each category the dealership must exceed customer expectations across a variety of specific operational guidelines. .

Designed to recognize Brunswick dealers who are operating world-class retail and service facilities, this certification program offers an objective third-party review of participating dealerships against 170 quality measures. These measures are the product of research into the best practices of Sea Ray and Boston Whaler dealerships and other retail and service operations. The Brunswick dealer certification program is the most comprehensive independent dealer certification program in the marine industry. The Brunswick Dealer Certification program sets a new standard for customer satisfaction. It requires dealers seeking certification to meet comprehensive requirements that are based on the latest best dealer practices from Brunswick and its leading marine dealers nationwide. The program also includes all industry requirements and Marine Five Star Dealer Certification sponsored by both the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and the Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA).
