Meet Jay Dawson

About JD:
JD jokes that he has been a fan of boats since the age of 1, when he was the proud owner of a wind-up bathtub toy boat. JD also had the opportunity to spend time growing up on large boats in the waters around Victoria. He had friends whose families had Boston Whalers, and spent his summers boating with his friends around Oak Bay, Chattam Island, and the islands around Sidney.

After meeting the owner at a boating event on Chattam Island in 2004, JD began working for Mercury Sales and Service in Victoria.

JD moved to Vancouver and joined the M&P team in Parts and Warranty in January of 2008, and is currently the Service Advisor in the Burnaby Service Department.

Although home base in now Vancouver, JD returns regularly on weekends to Victoria during the summers where he spends time with his friends wakeboarding on Shawnigan Lake.
